Ron,
I can live with it. To create an index in MS Word I would have to
mark each entry to be indexed. That does not seem practical. I think
I may have discovered a work around. By copying General notes to
Research notes and editing there for exactly what I want in the
report. Then I can select “Research notes” instead of “General notes”
under Report options. I will have some duplication of notes in my
Legacy file, but I think that may work better than trying to
selectively print from General notes. I don't use the research notes
tab anyway, so space is not a problem. Thanks again.

Chick
