What is a "fact"?

What we have here is an assertion. i.e. a source document said
"so-and-so was of Anytown". You don't have to figure out what is meant
... don't over-analyze it.

Given the limitations of the Legacy data model, I would record it just
like I do other assertions. Maybe add an Event/Fact called "Misc" and
enter "so-and-so was of Anytown" and attach a citation. I might choose
to make it private (so it doesn't get reported or exported) if I already
have enough other info on this person establishing that assertion
independently. If this is all I've got for this person, I wouldn't make
it private.
