Mike,

If I did not have a definite name, and probably no reliable source, I
would not list an unknown spouse.  I would use the Individual's General
Notes to indicate why I believed that individual may have had another,
unknown, spouse.  When I finally obtain a source with a name, I would
then and only then enter a new individual.
