Ron,
I'm not sure that using the notes and writing the source next to
each entry would make it possible to have an uncluttered report for those
members of my family who don't really care about where each piect of
information came from. I wonder why this is a feature that Legacy doesn't
care to address or perhaps they are not able to add it to the program for
some reason? Regardless, I would be interested in any other ways in which
Legacy users handle this problem. I wonder if I put the exact information in
the text block of the detail I could somehow show that the information was
found separately. I think I'll try this and see how easy it might be.

This is a problem that we have asked Legacy to address on numerous
occasions, without success! It is not possible to source individual fields.
I frequently have more than one source attached to, for example, a birth,
and I agree one cannot tell which bit is being sourced. Some people use the
notes and write the source next to each entry in the notes. Personally, not
for me though.
