"If you created an Event/Fact for every piece of datum (Event Type for FirstName, MiddleName, LastName, Title, Suffix, BirthDate, BirthPlace, etc.) you can enter it in Legacy. The problem is that reports/webpages/??? can't piece things back together. You would have to create your own reports/webpages from the Access database to be able to present your data to the world. Not fun!"
I hadn't thought of doing this and my first thought was to possibly create an Event/Fact IN ADDITION to just entering the data and source without regard to which piece came from which source and then make the new Events/Facts created "Private" so that I could make them show up only when I want them to but then that would conflict with other types of data I have entered in this way. And as far as ACCESS, a programmer I am NOT! (That's what kids were invented for but unfortunately for me three of mine will be in college this year!) Thanks again for the possibilities. Probably not enough "bang for the buck". Not exactly an enhancement that you can trumpet to bring in new customers. >It is not possible to source individual fields.
