That's why there are Alt. events in the Master Event Definition list... Alt. Birth, Alt. Burial, Alt. Christening and Alt. Death
If you use the Alt event and find that event is the correct one, but clicking on the Options button next to the Events/Facts list on the Individual Information edit window, you can swap the Alt. event with the one you entered above.
