When inputting, for example, census data for a family, I select the first individual and Add an Event/Fact. In the Assigned Sources box, I then add a Source/Citation to that entry using 'Cite a Master Source', for example 'UK1851 Census'from the Master Source List. I then add the Source Detail, for example HO107-855 F12 P4. I then 'Copy' the Detail using right-click on the mouse, Date it and 'Save'. For the next individual in the same census family I repeat the process but 'Paste' the Source Detail into the relevant box after entry of the Master Source, so that's the only short cut. > If this is not what you are doing, then it could be that > your family file, which is an Access Database file, has > become corrupted.
