I THINK I had a similar problem some time ago - trouble is I don't remember how I fixed it! Sorry. Have you checked the archives? I'm afraid I can't even remember how I worded the problem to give you a clue for searching (blame chemo brain I'm afraid!) My problem appeared when I was using the source clipboard - the source details were being replaced by random characters in subsequent use of the source which I gather is your problem also.
