Place names in Legacy still baffle me. I don't understand the system. I want to use the name they had at the time of the event because, at least in the county I mostly work in, where the record currently is depends on when it was created. If you put down the current name of the county and it is a marriage record you'd never find it. Based on what you have said I think I could devise a system.
But I am leaving that for another day.
