.zip is the extension of back-up files created by Legacy. If the file is named PM.zip then PM is not an extension but the filename. If you look at your PM.zip in a "zipping" program such as Winzip you will be able to see what files it contains. (A .zip file can contain several individual files - of the same or different types - within it.) -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
