Stuart, Which version of Legacy are you using?
Legacy7 uses the following format for its back-up: "Ferguson 2010-11-01 13.00.45.zip" All I can suggest, is, as I think I suggested before, to try and open it Using File>Restore Family File and follow the instructions. please let us know the outcome. Do not give it the same name as an existing file.
