Ward, My main point was that Stuart has consistently said that his file name was PM.zip with nothing before the PM - hence my question.

Stuart, I haven't totally followed this thread, but if you have several different databases each saved in backup format, here is one way. Restore each backup into a separate Legacy database (.fdb Family File). Legacy should update old versions to the latest. You can edit these separately to fix up things, like pruning out branches, fixing locations, etc. Then choose one as the main file and start merging each of the others into it. (Import >From >> Legacy File...). Make lots of backups before major steps.
