For those of you using Outlook for your email, there is a program called Message Save that will save your messages outside of Outlook in various formats. You can download a 30 day trial. I have used it to move some of my thousands of emails out of Outlook. http://www.techhit.com/messagesave/

I sometimes delete stuff I left there by accident. The longest I had was 116 pages. Or if my provider goes away, I don't need to 'emergency' move stuff.
