I'm really not at all sure what it is that you are asking.  I am
presuming you are selecting "Husband" or "Wife" from the Edit menu?  If
so, are you saying that having done that the Event area at the bottom of
the screen has no entries?  There will not be anything there unless you
have actually entered at least one Event/Fact for that person.

Similarly, if you are selecting "Marriage" from the Edit menu and seeing
details of a Divorce in the lower area of the screen, that is because
you have entered a Divorce Event for that couple.  You will not see a
"Marriage Event" in that area because the details of the marriage are in
the upper area of the screen and do not appear in the same way as
Events/Facts unless for some reason you want to create a separate
Marriage/Wedding Event.

The Events/Facts part of the Marriage Information screen is for adding
Events or Facts which relate to the Marriage - such as a Wedding
Anniversay, for example - or for Events/Facts which relate to the
married couple rogether.

If I have completely misunderstood you perhaps you can explain a bit
more what your problem is.
