If all you want to do is see an individual and all associated events on one screen, then perhaps bringing up the source citation window will be of help. I believe the intent of the screen is for you to determine what has and has not been sourced, but you get to see all events and vitals for an individual, including marriage and children relationships and such, on this screen. It's still a click to get here, but it is at least all in one place.
