Ah! I had slightly mis-read your OP in that I thought you were
referring to lumping several facts from different sources.

Yes, with Censuses I put all the information provided into one Census
Event, the slight difference being that I put the information into the
Description field and use the Notes field for listing the members of the
household.

My Event Sentences read something like "England Census: on 07 April 1861
he was enumerated at 21 Military Road, Canterbury, Kent, England as
William Pitt; son; single; aged 27; born in Canterbury, Kent; Cordwainer.
The household comprised Joseph Pitt 994 & his wife Martha Ewell 995,
their children William Pitt 997,Martha Pitt 998 & Caroline Pitt 1001,
their grandson Harry Lavender 276 and apprentice John Hammond."

I do it this way because I believe being enumerated for a Census is an
Event in its own right (many other LUGgers do not!) and I like to see a
"snapshot" of the household as it was at that time. It's also very
quick to enter all the details in this way as the Event (with Source) is
C&P'd using the Event Clipboard and it is only necessary to change the
description line for each Individual. Depending on circumstances, it is
quite likely that I would not includes the (duplicated) Event Notes in
Reports.

I specifically use the phrase "(s)he was enumerated as ..." because I am
copying exactly what the enumerator wrote (1) which is not necessarily
terribly accurate, being the enumerator's transcription of the original
Census sheet which may or may not have been completed by the head of the
household, who may or may not have had accurate information.

(1) Except in the case of the 1911 (England & Wales) where we see the
originals.
