Legacy didn't tie themselves to the LDS site, they are simply providing a way to use it easily, if you don't want to use it you don't have to.
I think all this "bashing" of the LDS site should stop. They have provided MANY records for those around the world to use - - FREE. If you don't want to use that information then don't but quit bad mouthing it.
