Elizabeth, I wonder if this is an obscure bug, and the married names are retaining the RIN prior to your change. I have no idea if this is possible, and if you have Access or Open Office, you may be able to have a look for yourself - table tblIR contains Individual records. It maybe that Legacy may wish to check your .fdb file, if they are willing to try and sort it.
If I am correct then you are unlikely to find anybody who is willing to risk ruining their files to check it! I can't delete anyone as the phantoms are not there in person - just their names wrong with the details etc. of the correct person with that RIN.
