Charles, Check out the Help of RIN's. For those who want to control the number used by Legacy, I would look into the use of User ID numbers.

Nevertheless, you are where you are, and I suspect that your only way of dealing with this is to delete the wrong person. I would check first using the Index or Name list to ensure that you do actually have duplicates, but I strongly think that you have.
