Laird: Thanks for the suggestion, but entering letters is too much extra work. If I have to keep entering different letters it will take me longer to go through the list.
This is already a very tedious project. I've even fallen asleep at the computer doing this and added the wrong sources to some individuals, then had to go back and fix them. It isn't that the list of individuals is too long. It's that I have to keep scrolling to the top. I think I'm going to start at the bottom from now on. It'll make me think that I'm almost done with this source even though I'm not.
