I'm not sure what "this" you mean -- the whole process, the page building, or the upload?
At any rate, I routinely build pedigree pages for around 15,000 folks out of my full 200k file. I do a full run, then 8 stripped down runs that are just for creating tag specific indexes. The whole takes about half an hour. Manual tweaks and Ltools takes another 30 minutes or so. I use Beyond Compare (excellent program) to extract only those files that have changed since the last build (usually around 150 html and image files) and upload them, which takes about 10 minutes on a dsl line to Rootsweb. If I run up everything, it takes around 4 hours.
