Michele,

If you are using LTools then you are clearly creating Pedigree pages which, as
you say can take a long time to upload to your web server. To avoid this I use
file comparison software, in my case CSdiff, and Wm mentioned another, so that
I only upload the files which have changed. This software compares the new
version with the previous version and enables you to select only those files
which you have changed for uploading.

You need to remember that a date created change will show up as a change, and
to avoid this I do not change that date until the last stage when I use PSPad
to change the date in the changed files to the current one.

There are a number of wrinkles which you may find in this process, and the
details of which would be off topic for this list. You can obtain further
information from the forum at WebUsersLegacy:

My web pages look fine. The problem is, Legacy created almost 8000 individual
pages which takes a long time, then LTools cleans up almost 8000 individual
pages which takes a long time, and then I have to upload almost 8000 individual
pages which takes a long time And I don’t even consider 8000 people an
especially large file. I was looking for someone to streamline it so that it
doesn’t take so long, especially because I have to go through the process
fairly frequently because I am constantly working on my file.

So, if I understand you now, your problem is with your FTP or File Transfer
Protocal software and not the cleaning up of HTML codes on a web page. Is that
correct?
