Some kind soul emailed me off list with the solution to my problem. My problem is that I am uploading over 7000 individual pages to the server and that is what takes so long.

Do you only need to code html? I use Homesite v. 5 to fine tune my web pages and it has find and replace capaibility so when I make a change to a page, i can make it across the board to every page in my directory at the same time and I find it makes any changes very easy. Is that the type of cleaning up you're referring to?
