On several occasions I've been at the same frustration level as Cathy with
respect to the Legacy help files.

One thing I think that would help immensely is a ctrl-F type mechanism for
searching for a term on a given page. I use that capability on web pages and
in most documents on a daily basis, and it saves me an enormous amount of
time.

And by the way, I've written tutorials for software products and I currently
develop and deliver software training classes, and I daily encounter the
reality that one learning approach does not fit all minds. That goes for
documentation. People generally have varying expectations of documentation,
and take different approaches to gleaning the info they need from it. That
on top of the peculiarties inherent in any given software product's approach
to arranging and presenting material in their docs. So I urge everyone to
please be gentle with each other on this topic.
