I've used practically every version of Legacy in the last 10 years. I'm an
early adopter of everything and always upgrade to the latest. As far as the
icons, I never noticed any "dancing" of any icon on any screen in the
application. I can't go back and check in specific version of Legacy now
because I've upgraded to the one that just came out.

Bob,

You do not say which version you are using, nor which Icons you were looking
at?

Strange, but the icons never "danced" for me. Could there be a Windows
setting that suppresses such movement? I turn off all Windows sounds and
most special effects. And I agree that the programmers jumped the gun in
turning off something that most seem to like before looking at alternatives.

It's seems that there were more people who liked the "dancing" icons
than those who didn't. Unfortunately, the programmers are quick to
satisfy those who complain about a change rather than wait a bit to
get a consensus of how the majority feel about the change.
