I have multiple vision problems and found the jumping around to be not only extremely distracting and making it MUCH harder to focus and read!

These days accessibilty for people who have disabilities, including eyesight problems (and I have had some of these myself) is most important and some minor inconvenience of non-impaired users should be accepted.
