Laura, I might agree that the movement was a bit too much, but it does seem as though the principle was favoured by a majority of the users who commented.
These days accessibilty for people who have disabilities, including eyesight problems (and I have had some of these myself) is most important and some minor inconvenience of non-impaired users should be accepted.
