Jan, I don’t think it is harder than FTM, just different, and works in a different way being people orientated rather than Event orientated. With respect to the use of images, FTM actually stores the image in the file, thus increasing the memory overhead when the program is used. Legacy just stores the path to the image which means that if an image is moved then Legacy will not find it without human aid.

I actually use very few of these enhancements, but this one improvement seems to be of no importance. Really, wouldn't it be nice to do a family file backup and restore and find all of the new stuff you have added is included? I guess I will just have to watch each new version and update in hopes that someone much smarter than I am will figure out how to do it. Thanks all for the responses.
