Unfortunately the Buried/Cremate situation was not implemented correctly.
It is not an either/or situation since the terms refer to totally
different things.

Burial refers to the final resting place of the remains.  Either/or
alternatives
for Burial would be Entombment or being placed in an urn in someone's home.

Cremation refers to how the body was prepared for burial.  Either/or
alternatives
for Cremation would be Embalming or just leaving the body as is.

It is possible to be BOTH cremated AND buried, and it would involve
different dates and places.  I have mentioned this before on the list when
the improper implementation occurred a few years ago, but no one has ever
bothered to fix it.
