Thanks to all who responded. I do understand the difference between .doc,.xls, 
.pdf, etc and ,jpg, .bmp, .tif, etc., when adding these to the Legacy 
Source/Detail.

I'm still in a quandary as to why the errors even show up as 'Sound/Video' 
errors when I have absolutely nothing in either of those fields for the 'edit 
detail' or 'edit source' (where the selections are 'Picture', 'Sound', 'Video' 
or 'File').

I re-visited each of the errors and re-established the data so that the last 
run produced no 'missing.txt' issues.  The issue appears moot at this juncture 
since the last run of the 'Options' - 'Customize' -  'Locations' - 'Test All 
Multimedia Paths' - 'Proceed' report indicated that 'All Picture, Sound, Video, 
and Document Locations have been verified.'
