Marnie, I have the same build and windows version and tried to recreate your problem. No luck, I only have to save once. Hopefully someone else has the same problem to help identify the source.

Whenever I open an individual screen to add a new female or to edit an existing female, I have to click the save button three times in order to save and close the screen. Always 3 times.
