Jeff,

To be more specific than so far, Families allows one to synchronise data on a 
mobile with Legacy on a PC. in both directions. In other words one can copy all 
your data to Families and manipulate it as you would on you PC. You can also 
add data to the Families DB and synchronise it back to your PC.

What cannot be done is import GEDCOMs, Clearly you can’t write reports, etc..

  Thank you. It only works if your family tree is on Ancestry, so it does not 
suit me. I need an app that will work fully on android. Legacy's upcoming app 
is apparently only a reader too. So I will keep looking.

  Someone mentioned "Families" which lets you modify the data on your android 
device and is compatible with Legacy. Will try it and see.
