Les, I am off to bed now, and this clearly needs some thought, so maybe Brian can come up with something whilst I sleep on it - I'm at an all day conference tomorrow, so that's another day lost! The one thing which I would do first id to run File>File Maintenance>Check/Repair, and if not clear (ie. no error log) reun until clear. I have attached a sample file for your review. The Alleged spouse on the individual report was born Cir 1954. See the Birth, Death dates of the person Dan Alexander. I also sent this to Brian who has responded to my request. All the children have the notation "never married and had no children". Also note the name index and how Kathy has an additional page. Thanks, Again, Les ----- Original Message ----- From: Ron Ferguson To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, August 07, 2013 5:26 PM Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Odd situation with individual report Leslie, Just in case there has been some linking of ghost marriages, have you checked View>Marriage List to ensure that there is not a marriage for the three children? Ron Ferguson http://www.fergys.co.uk/ From: Leslie Jackson Sent: Wednesday, August 07, 2013 10:13 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] Odd situation with individual report I am in the final editing stages for a family documentation being presented on this Saturday August 10, 2013. I have assembled a mass of Family Group Records and 3 individual records (Children who died before they were married), all in Chronological order. When I call for a preview or a PDF of the information, the 3 individual records have a "Spouse" listed, taken from the FGR immediately preceeding it. This is despite the fact that the "this individual never married and had no children" box is checked on the individuals record. I searched for all available options and even edited the "Report Options" for "individual reports" and checked the box, "marriage status" and nothing changed. How can I prevent this from happening? Example, a stillborn child born ##-AAA-1922, Died ##-AAA-1922. On the individual Report it lists the parents correctly and under the parents is the "Spouse" field with Data from the preceeding FGR. If the child was a male, the spouse is the wife of the FGR before it. Even though the "spouse" was born in 1954. This is not normal. Am I not supposed to mix FGR with Individual Reports? Do I have something check that is overriding the logical sequence of data flow?
