When I need a document to either review or show as proof for an event it's very easy to find. Documents are numbered, placed in an acid free page sleeve, then in a 3 ring binder. When I originally started researching my family in 1975, I used a family filing system. This often meant making 2 copies of a document when 2 families were on a document. Now my files are arranged by project surname, then by type of document [I use the KISS principal] then by number. I'd be very happy to answer any questions on this method.
