Will the new mapping feature pull from this list of addresses too?

Since an Event Address is not linked directly to a person you cannot use search
to find people linked to an event address. The addresses available in the
search are mailing addresses directly linked to a person.

The best I can suggest to see who uses an event address is:
Go to View > Master Lists > Address Lists > Event There is a Show List button
which will show who uses an Event Address but it does not show which event(s)
for that person use the address.
You would have to use the Edit person button to see what events they have and
then the edit for each event to see if the event has an address. Vital events
with a possible address will have the blue plus sign at the end of the vital
event.
