Legacy uses degree, minute, seconds for coordinates. The only
non-standard thing is that we do not divide the parts with a space.
Latitude is entered as ddmmss.ssss longitude is dddmmss.sss note there
are three degree digits in longitude because that can vary from 000 to
180. latitude only goes from 0 to 90 so only two digits are needed.

Some applications use decimal degrees rather than the dms system but
both are equally valid systems for measuring angles along with radians
