Thankyou all for your comments. I had received a Legacy report about some of my family including census records in the marriage which made me wonder if I was doing it correctly. In case there was some reason of which I was not aware I thought it better to check it out with those more experienced with Legacy than I.
Many thanks Shirley NZ ----- Original Message ----- From: Brian/Support To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, September 01, 2013 11:42 PM Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Where are census events recorded. Yes, the census applies to the couple so long as they are living together but that is not neccisarily true for "the whole family". As the family structure changes with time children will be listed or removed from the family listing so every census will not all apply to every child. If the census is added only to the family how will that affect the search for census entries for the children and your ability to define a proper timeline of places for the children.
