Fred,
When you clicked “Reset to Defaults” you set EVERYTHING back to the defaults.
In the Customize menu, click the View tab. Under “Display Numbers on Names”
check the boxes for "On all Name Lists, "On Family View and Pedigree Chart" and
"RINs." If you don't want RINs displaying in all those places you can always
go back and uncheck something. Your file is just fine :)

Subject: [LegacyUG] RIN numbers not showing

Hello everyone, I've been using Legacy now for only 2 months and I think I have
created a problem and am hoping someone might be able to help.

My data base is up to over 1100 family members. I thought I might want to
change the location of where Legacy is backing up the files.

So I clicked on the upper Tab Options >Customize>Locations.
Made a change in the "Default Location of Family Files".

Then having second thoughts that I better leave it alone, I clicked on the
"Reset to Defaults" button on the bottom of the page.

Now when I click on the Home Tab, I no longer show the RIN numbers.

In a panic, I printed out a "Descendant Narrative Book". The RIN numbers
printed out fine.

My question is how do I show the RIN numbers when I'm on the Home page? Help!
I'm in a panic thinking I might have trashed my data base!

Thanks to all who take the time to help me.

Fred H.
