Fred I think the ‘Reset to Defaults’ changed an option on the ‘View’ tab. Go back into Options>Customize and select ‘View’. Under Display Numbers on Names select RINs radio button and save. See if that helps.

My data base is up to over 1100 family members. I thought I might want to change the location of where Legacy is backing up the files. So I clicked on the upper Tab Options >Customize>Locations. Made a change in the "Default Location of Family Files". Then having second thoughts that I better leave it alone, I clicked on the "Reset to Defaults" button on the bottom of the page. Now when I click on the Home Tab, I no longer show the RIN numbers. In a panic, I printed out a "Descendant Narrative Book". The RIN numbers printed out fine. My question is how do I show the RIN numbers when I'm on the Home page? Help! I'm in a panic thinking I might have trashed my data base! Thanks to all who take the time to help me. Fred H.
