I use gmail & have not gotten those messages.

Mike's are the only messages I am getting that way on any list I am subscribed to. Is anyone else using gmail getting the warning? If not - there must be something I had better look into./ Jackie On Wed, Dec 18, 2013 at 4:35 PM, Michele/Support <[email protected]> wrote: John, I would like to add that this is a good way to corrupt your database. If you leave Legacy on overnight and Windows decides to do a software update and a reboot it could mess your file up. Also, a good power surge or an outage can do the same thing. It is a good idea to close down Legacy when you are not actively using it. When I read on LUG of a new update, I go to the Update box, > click and get the box telling me there is a new update. Anyone else > experiencing this? The check for a new update is only made when the program starts. Or, when clicking on the Updates header on the Home tab. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg (g) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
