Sherry, > Did you change the file name back in the c:\Program Files\Legacy8\ folder? No, I didn't. After Legacy8 started, with the 'old' Legacy8.lng file renamed out of the way, I looked in the \Program Files\Legacy8\ folder, and another Legacy8.lng file appeared there (as you indicated would happen), this time with the expected date of 17 Dec 2013. I had previously re-installed twice, following the onscreen instructions from the Legacy home page tab. Each time, a full re-install happened (I understand there are design reasons why updates can't be via patches), but each start after install gave the language file date error message. I appreciate the caveat about messing with files in the Program Files folder, which I know is sound advice. Is it now safe to delete the 'renamed' file? As a supplementary question, if I were to do a reinstall in the future, say because there's a new build, is there anything I could usefully do in preparation that would help avoid this sort of thing happening?
