For the life of me I cannot understand why people want to interfere with the way programmers, more knowledgeable than us, have structured the download and upgrade process. If they don’t follow the recommendations, on their head be it.
I followed exactly what was recommended for the upgrade without any problem, and then went on to discover the new program from there. To my mind individuals who follow their own whims in an upgrade deserve the difficulties they have generated.
