When you say that the Event Notes have been replace with "These are the Event
Notes", are you talking about the Sentence Preview when you are on the Edit
Sentence Definitions screen. If so, that is normal, that’s only sample text
being displayed, not your actual data.

Brian

I can confirm that bold (ctrl-B), underline (ctrl-u), italic (ctrl-i), and
superscript (ctrl-s) work on the Event Sentence edit screen for regular events
and main person of shared event but NOT for editing event-roles sentences.

I have not been able to confirm this. When I tried to follow the steps you
describe the event notes for the original person were not changed from those I
entered before adding the share and creating the legatee role for the person
who shared the event. The one thing you did not mention however is how you
edited the event sentences for the role to "match the style of my customised
Event Sentences" so I did not edit the role sentences.

If you tell me what your custom sentences use maybe i will be able to duplicate
the problem.
