Jenny, Make a report for the person/family which contains both the main person and someone who shares the event and see what appears there before submitting your problem report. From your explanation it may be that what you are calling an error is only the sentence preview at the bottom of the screen which in Legacy 8 for shared events is NOT taken from your actual entry. The notes portion is only a placeholder representation of where your note will be in the sentence.
If there is a problem you are going to have to submit it to [email protected]. Include screen shots of what you are seeing and where.
