It's so long since I subscribed I can't now remember, but I seem to recall
reading here that when people subscribe they receive a message of
confirmation.  If that is so, PLEASE can something be added to that
message that tells new subscribers to contact Support if they don't
receive mails within x days.  And also tells them NOT to e-mail the list
itself about this problem.
