I need to reconnect a bunch of images; they were never saved in the Legacy images file, always on my computer and I would just browse for the image in question. Now with version 8 I've been getting a pop up asking if I want to make a copy of that file to save in the Legacy images file (whatever it's called-that may not be exactly the name of it but it's in the Legacy program files I believe) It does give me the option so I can do it either way, but since I have a lot of images to get attached, I want to make sure I don't create future problems.
What I prefer to do is to keep my images where they are, in my dropbox, where they are sorted so that I can locate what I want from any computer anywhere. Is there anything wrong with that? Is there a benefit to 'copying' the image to the Legacy folder as well? Should I copy all of my images to the Legacy folder? I would love some input so I can get everything cleaned up properly.
