Kathy, With Legacy8, it is easier to copy your "images" to the Legacy folder for Media, and then when you backup your Legacy data you will also backup the images linked to records in Legacy. I would not put images in the Legacy folder that are not linked to a record in Legacy.
If you send a backup (.zip files) copy of your data to a friend or relative, send the zipped Legacy and Legacy Media files, and they can restore the data and have an exact copy of your data and media. You will not need to send copies of images separately. Everyone, have you watched where Legacy is copying images from when doing a Legacy backup?
