Hello all,

I have two report questions.

The first one requires explanation. Let us say that I'm talking about
Jane Smith. I cite everything. I mean, EVERYTHING. This way, when I go
back to track why I thought what I thought when I did, I can see my
steps on how I came to that conclusion.

Now, I've decided to change the way I wrote down the source detail on
my census information. I now want to go back and add the enumeration
date as well as the line numbers.

On Jane Smith, I will use the census data to cite her birthday (since
it includes years), I'll use it to cite her residence and I use it to
cite her occupation, maybe the marriage date (since a few of those ask
about it) and her research notes, etc. So on Jane Smith, I may have
cited that one census (and we're only talking one yet, I have many
census years for her) a dozen times and I only want to add those two
things to the details.

The solution, I think is just putting it in the clipboard and stamping
over the older stuff. That's fine, but the problem is how can I get a
Source Detail report to see which ones I need to fix?

The second question is a location and time thing. Is there a way to
find who all lived in a certain place at a certain time? Let's say I'm
looking for anyone that lived in Texas in 1830. How would I search for
that? It could be birth, or death, or marriage or residence or
anything. They just have to be in Texas in 1930. I was hoping to find
a location timeline but I don't see anything like that.

I'm grateful for any suggestions,

Cindy
