Your message implied there was a Master Citation or I read it wrong.  If there 
was a central place where we could access Master Details (like in FTM) then it 
would be easier to just update one for those it is attached to rather than 
going on a treasure hunt to find everyone's Detail that needs updating.

It's a little easier with the census by finding what family was in what census 
for what year then paste the corrected Source Detail to each of them.

Wait, who said there is no master? I'm not following, I guess. I never said 
that. There is definitely a master source. In fact, I don't even know how to 
add a Source Detail without a Master Source.
