What problem Pat?
A massive Master Source list is far more of a problem unless you never reuse a
Master Source - but if you don't reuse your Master Sources then you can't use
the very useful Show List feature.

I make Master Sources with the use of Show List in mind.
For example, with Church Registers - these are often found online as part of a
collection. However I don't use the collection as the Master Source when the
images are available, I use the church. (I'm not an extreme lumper ;-) )

If I were an extreme splitter, I guess I'd use a Master Source for each
different Register but I want to easily bring up a list of those associated
with a particular church. I just have to Show List on my Master Source.

I've done some more searching on Source-Citation by the way and it is
finding things in different parts of the Source Details.
